Hi guys!

Well in class at the moment we have been writing poems which has been interesting. This term we had speaches (ahhh) I was really nervous because we had to preform our speach in front of the ENTIRE senior school. My speach was about child labour. For maths we have been doing fractions decimals and percentages. Its pretty easy once you get the hang of it. we have also finished our book circles for this term. The book i was reading is called owl. It is a really good book and i am enjoying it. Well thats all for me.

My 3-way targets

Hae guys I had my 3-way a while ago and it wasn't as bad as I thought it was. When I had my 3-way I had to set two goals and they were attain level 4 writting and attain level 7 strategy. I plan to acheive these goals by focusing on them and really trying my best to achieve them i will also practice at home because Jay is going to start giving me homework soon so that should be good.

3-way confrence

Well, Hi guys

sorry I haven't put up a new post in ages.

Well I have to explain a 3-way confrence so basicly a 3-way confrence is sort of like a parent teacher meeting but the child directs the meeting. So the child talks about their learning. I have'nt had mine yet I have mine tomorrow (10/08/07). I'm sort of nervous but it should be ok. I hope it goes ok fingers crossed it will. We have been getting ready for our 3-way confrence for about 2 weeks.

market day!!

well today is market day. we are having market day to fundraise money for stage challenge. its really cool people brang lots of stuff like baked goods and old toys. I made chocolate cups. only 8 days till stage challenge I can't wait its so fun. well I have to go to lunch now see ya!!

well stage challenge is only 11 days away I cant wait I'm really excited. well for maths we're doing division again just going over the strategy's again which is ok. We have been publishing our book reports and story's this week which is cool. Some people haven't finished their inquiry project but luckily I have yay!! We have been practicing for stage challenge like crazy its fun but we go over the dance soooo many times but we have to so it is perfect. thats all I've got to say

Hey everyone my name is Ripeka and I go to Thorndon School. Well we are learning dance because we are performing at stage challenge. It’s really cool the whole dance is based on the new smacking bill. We are also learning the area and perimeter of shapes it’s kind of easy but some of it is quite hard. For writing we are learning how to write dialogue. I am quite enjoying it because it is easy but challenging at the same time. Well this week is quite busy on Wednesday we are going to Pataka in the morning and we are having a soccer tournament in the afternoon and on Thursday we are going to the St James theatre to go and see the swan lake ballet. Well that’s pretty much all I have to say ok bye.
